Hi, my name is Robert L Nemeth III, but to every I am “Bobby”. Formerly I was the Director of Student Ministries at Christian Life Church but now I am stepping into my new role as CLC’s Teaching and Formation Pastor.
This means that my primary responsibility is to anchor our Wednesday Night’s “Faith Discussion” and help people form a Christian worldview that connects the Faith to our whole life. This means that the Christian faith is not about having a “spiritual life”, “home life, “work life” etc. It is about having Jesus through the Spirit be in and through everything that you do. It is about effectively believing and living out the Christian faith no matter what the context.
My teaching method is simple: it is a journey and we are on it together. If I am to be your guide then you need to ask questions. Without them we will never advance and move forward in this journey. So I invite you to question, study, and dive into the narrative of the scriptures with me.
Currently I hold a B.A. (narrative theology) from Somerset Christian College and I am working on my Master of Divinity (2012) at Regent University’s School of Divinity, Virginia Beach, VA. I have also served as a visiting Teacher of New Testament Theology at Sudan Theological College, Sudan, Africa (Fall 2008).
My future goal is to continue living out the CLC project of “Pentellectualism”, living in the tension of the life of the mind and the life of the Spirit, both here in the states as an academic and pastor as well as overseas as a Teacher/Professor in the 10/40 window of the developing world.
When not teaching at CLC or going to school I love to read and write. Currently, I am working on a novel that re-conceptualizes the myth of vampires and I am reading the Twilight series. Also I like to play a little bit of guitar, watch movies and just hang out and talk with people at Starbucks.
