  Halakah

Halakah is designed for those who often say, “Church, yeah that's not for me.”  They talk about wanting something different, something “real” and that isn't what they find in church.  Some will say, “Yeah, I believe in God but I am just not into Christianity.”  That is where we are in our world.

Halakah, “the Way” in Hebrew, is a community that came together to ask serious questions about spirituality, faith, life, and the world that we live in.  We realize that in this life we are all on a journey, we are all on “the Way” and a journey isn't much fun when you are on it by yourself.

Halakah is a place where you can come and doubt, believe, or just hang out and be a part of a community that is asking with you and helping you think about life in a way that you may not have before.  We want to be a community that is about respect, love, and questions.  So come pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee (or tea), and be prepared to think and ask questions.

Last Saturday of the month 7:30 -9pm

Hang out and come enjoy the (3) three C’s Comfort, Coffee, and Conversation.

Come and find out what the heck we’re talking about...

Halakah is birthed out of the complex and strange theological ideas that continually swim in Bobby’s head. As our Teaching and Formation Pastor he is experimenting to understand the faith in the narrative of which the Bible was written. (And Yes, the rest of the pastoral staff are scratching their heads as well.)
